No two claims are alike. That's why we have adjusters who specialize in market segments, local laws and industry regulations — so we can offer greater expertise in managing specific claims. Additionally, we have a highly selective recruiting process and hire only exceptional people. Every claims department trainee receives over 250 hours of intensive training before ever working with our customers, and we don't rely on outside trainers.

Additionally, Applied Underwriters provides customized training through our in-house Corporate University to keep all employees on top of the latest developments in law, medicine and technology.

This includes our proprietary claims model office training system that simulates the actual claims adjusting environment. But training doesn't stop there. All of our adjusters receive at least 25 credit hours per year in legal, medical and technical topics.
